HopKitchen: Blind Service
One can’t see. One can’t hear. One can’t speak. Dinner’s at eight.
HopKitchen: Blind Service is a free first-person co-op cooking game for exactly three players in your web browser. The Blind cook is the only one who can touch the food, but sees only dark shapes. The Deaf cook sees everything but hears nothing. The Mute cook has today’s cookbook but can’t speak. Slice, fry, flip, season and stack every order by talking, signing and pointing, before the tickets run out.

What is HopKitchen: Blind Service?
The Blind cook takes ingredients, cuts them, fries them on a three-burner stove, seasons them and builds each plate at the pass. Tomatoes, onions and lemons all feel round, and the four shakers look the same.
The Deaf cook reads the tickets, the labels and how brown the meat is, and talks the Blind cook through it, but never hears a reply. The Mute cook hears everyone and signs the recipe with numbers, pointing and a gesture wheel.
Voice chat is routed by role: the Mute cook’s mic is cut, the Deaf cook hears nobody, and the Blind cook only reaches the Mute cook. Roles rotate every round, and the cookbook changes every service.
HopKitchen: Blind Service features and game modes
- Three cooks, each missing one sense: blind, deaf and mute
- Voice chat routed by role, plus gestures, numbers and pointing
- Hands-on cooking: slice, fry both sides, season, stack and serve
- Burning, pan fires and an extinguisher
- A new cookbook edition every round, and levels with more orders at once
HopKitchen: Blind Service tips
- Blind cook: say what you’re holding and where you are. Only the Mute cook hears you, and they can nod.
- Deaf cook: watch the Mute cook’s hands. A held-up number is usually a count of cuts or shakes.
- Mute cook: point at the exact crate or shaker. It’s faster than spelling it out.
