Terms of Service

The service

HopLobby lets you open a lobby, invite friends and play browser games together. It is an early preview: games are test builds, features can change or disappear, and the service may be interrupted or reset without notice.

Your account

You can play without an account. If you sign in with Google you are responsible for activity under your account. Do not share your sign-in. Progress, XP, coins and cosmetics have no cash value and may be changed or reset while the service is in preview. Premium you paid for stays on your account for the season it covers.

Buying premium

The premium track of each season can be bought with a one-time payment (US$4.99 for Season 1, taxes included). It is not a subscription. You pay on Stripe’s checkout page. The sale is handled by Link, Stripe’s checkout service, which acts as the seller of record, collects any VAT or sales tax and sends your receipt; Link’s terms apply to the payment. Coins and XP can’t be bought.

Premium belongs to the HopLobby account you bought it with and unlocks as soon as the payment is confirmed. It covers the season it was bought for, ends with that season and has no cash value. Because it is digital content delivered straight away, you are asked to agree that it starts immediately and that this ends your 14-day right to withdraw. That doesn’t affect your rights if premium doesn’t work as described: contact us and we will fix it or refund you. If a payment is refunded or reversed, premium is removed from the account.

Donations

You can choose to give HopLobby a donation of any amount between US$1 and US$500. A donation is a voluntary gift to support the project: it doesn’t buy anything, unlock anything or give you any rights, and it is not a donation to a charity, so it isn’t tax-deductible. You pay on Stripe’s checkout page, and HopLobby is the recipient. If you donated by mistake, contact us within 14 days and we will refund you.

You can add a display name and a short message, or stay anonymous. Owners may show them publicly, for example on stream. Keep them friendly: no links, hate or harassment. We may hide any message without notice.

Play fair

Do not use the service to harass or threaten others, post unlawful or hateful content (including in names and lobby text), cheat or exploit bugs to disrupt other players, attack, overload or probe the service, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours. We may remove lobbies or block access to protect other players or the service.

Our content

The HopLobby name, logo, games and artwork belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service for personal play, but may not copy or resell it.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises about availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, and nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Ending use

You can stop using HopLobby at any time. We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken or the service is changed or closed.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use HopLobby after a change means you accept the updated terms. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
