What is HopPool?
The table sits in a smoky corner bar with a jukebox, neon signs and regulars talking at the counter. Your character walks round the table and bends to take each shot.
Put spin on the cue ball to draw it back, follow through or swerve it, raise the cue for a jump shot or a masse, and read the ghost ball guide to see where the object ball goes.
Bar rules: the first ball you pot after the break picks your group, you call the pocket for the 8, and a foul gives your opponent ball in hand behind the line. The host picks one rack or a race to 3 or 5, and a shot clock from 30 to 90 seconds, or none.
